Our story old
David Miro was born in Mosul, Iraq in 1939 to a Jewish family that was engaging in many types of craft involving different types of metals for several generations.
In 1950 the entire family came to Israel, making Aliyah to the city of Akko.
When the family was settled, the grandfather of David started to teach him the unique type of copper artwork.
The David Miro's artwork shop story
When David finished his Army service, He opened his first own shop in the year 1963 at the city of Akko.
The unique store specializes in many different and unique art designs of David, involving motifs from Judaism, Christianity and the holy land of Israel.
About the copper art works sold in the store
During the production of the artworks, we use basic material (copper or brass) coated with oxide or silver. All the artworks coated with the lacquer and burned so that it will not tarnish.
David Miro's large and unique store includes unique art items that can only be found in this store and can't be found anywhere else. A unique art that can only be heard about in stories with history and nostalgia from previous generations.
Since 2005 David Miro's son (Dror) began working with him and since then he trained him to be the next generation of copper smithing artist.
